Seussical: The Musical
By Original Broadway Cast

The end of today was the greatest. I was at rehearsal for Aladdin, which is soo much fun by itself, and then all of a sudden someone whips out a cake and they all sing me happy birthday. You cannot believe how much I've waited to turn 16. I'll be able to drive! How crazy is that? I couldn't stop smiling during the rest of rehearsal. Some of those people I've just met, but it's the best time I've had in a while. I could go on, but I won't. Just come and see it, especially because the soldiers get to have this awesome song in it, that Josh made the tune to, and we are just amazing. We did it for the cast today and they loved it.

The Crucible is coming along dreadfully, except for a few exceptions. Those being Jessica, who is perfect, Sam, who should still look through his lines, EB, Graham, and Cassidy. All of the others either don't know their lines, or just don't care. I am alright, but I'm afraid that part of the time I don't care. I guess I should stick to musicals.

Tomorrow I get my license, with insurance, and a debit card. That is really all I need, even though some people insist on giving me a present, just give me something small. And about a party? Well, first, I don't have much time at all. Second, I don't want a party persay, just a gathering of friends to have a good time (presents not mandatory).

Choir just isn't up to what it could be (Lee choir, duh). Some people just don't care. We're still pretty good, but we don't have that extra thing that has gotten every other year on to great competitions. Next year, I'm hoping to really have serious and good people in there. Who knows.. and I really want a good musical. Because we have some really great seniors next year. Of course that means that our grade won't get parts because there are so many seniors, but chorus has a lot of fun parts usually. I wish I was in Jekyll and Hyde, but since Kendra didn't get in, well, frankly I wouldn't have had a chance. It would still be soo much fun.

This is long, but I'm really happy after rehearsal and barely any homework. So, good night everyone. I wish everyone could be this happy all the time. I'll pray for it. Well, peace.

I know that everyone is feeling this, but I extremely hate that we have to go back to school tomorrow. And then adding 5 more long days to the school year next year is painful. Our school board makes me mad. Otherwise, it was a nice break (a bit too fast, as always). I visited three colleges, mainly for my sister, but it was fine. Duke seems great. She's added that to her favorites. I still have no idea, so don't ask me.

I'm hoping Seussical will be fun (if I get in). And hoping to audition for Charlie Brown in the fall. I've been listening to the music and it's pretty good. A lot of fun, a lot like Alexander, so I'm looking forward to it.

I really really really want to see V for Vendetta, but my extremely annoying and overprotective mother doesn't want me to go. How wrong is that? I'm hoping to change her mind today or by next weekend. I never want homework again. And lately, I've been thinking about the Crucible and Aladdin. Both of them, the people are fun to work with, but I just don't want to be there. Too late, cuz now it's taking up the next month and a half for me. Buuuut.....

My birthday is in two weeks! Hahaha, I will be able to drive myself to rehearsals and back. I'm very excited. To barely ever have to wait for rides. So, that's my life.

Lalala je ne l'o. yea...

Soo, at solo/ensemble I got a 95, yess. Both of my ensembles got 95s also. It's Spring Break! and I have to visit colleges with my sister. I guess it'll be fun-ish. I'm trying to find some kind of internship this summer, and auditioning for Seussical and possibly another show. Right now, other than spring break, I'm pretty busy. Actually, most everyone is busy. Not a good time of year. I need summer desperately, but for now, spring break will do. Darn! I keep spelling everything wrong, it's frustrating.

I should clean my room, it's messy. I will be able to drive in less than a month! You don't know how happy that makes me. Rumbles in my stomach inform me that I need food. Sayonara.

I just noticed that we can put titles,,, wow.

I was just minding my own business, sitting on the floor, tired, and all of a sudden, without so much as a second's notice,... my cat farted...right next to me. It was so very entertaining. ---story of the day

All-State is about to happen....at least we get days of school off. It's not that bad, but gets boring during rehearsal, we better have a good director. I have my normal room so I wont have to room with any odd people....whew. And let me tell you, it has happened. Actually once, my own idea of course, I slept both nights on the air conditioner with a pillow and blanket. It was cold. But those of you who know me, or have danced with me, know that my hands are always cold, soo it didn't really matter.

I saw Footloose! and it was very good. My absolute favorites were Miles, Erica, and some guy that I supposedly knew when we were like 2, he played this country guy, very funny. Chris and Allison did great and I wish I could have seen it twice. Truthfully, I think it was the best Grissom show I've ever seen, except the one with me in it, jk, it really was great though and the cast should be happy. Can't wait to see Grease! with MACI and Cody and Nicole and Ellyn (I spelled it right).

Mrs. Shaver is crazy... everyone knows, but I thought I'd reiterate. She must be bipolar, seriously. The choir has to sing the national anthem and our spiritual for the school (just shoot me) for the African American Celebration thingy. I seriously think that the vocal magnet students get out of school more than any other magnet, unless you count photography because they just waste two periods every day. Make-up work is annoying. Math test tomorrow, Nau is great and all, but she should relax. haha, and those of you in my class, did you hear what she said during our quiz? hehehe, it took all of my energy to stop from laughing. g'night.

So Valentine's Day was fine. Mainly fun, but really just a typical day(apart from the candy). Cayce makes good cupcakes. My bus driver gave us valentine gifts, haha it was nice. Choir sounds better, we might be ready by tomorrow. I'm hoping. Also, south pacific starts again tomorrow, woot woot. yea...

Next week, Julianna and I start rehearsals for Aladdin (in which, if I'm not mistaken, we will be backstage preeetty much the entire time). I've decided that Theatre Huntsville should produce "Brighton Beach Memoirs"... I might suggest it to them. Academic Team meet tomorrow,...darn it.

To those who know: Bown chica bow wown.... yeah--gigggity giggity giggity
